Degree paid upfront	Education Benefit for the DEPENDENT CHILD of a regular FULL-TIME staff member: 100% of tuition at the University of Pittsburgh, for up to 12 terms of undergraduate coursework, with no per-semester credit limit. It starts once the staff member has completed their provisional period - no multi-year service gate. Part-time regular staff are not eligible for the dependent-child benefit, and graduate programs are not covered.
Union contract	Pitt's own education-benefit page states that staff under collective bargaining agreements have this benefit governed by the terms of their agreement rather than the general staff policy - so for represented staff the contract, not the HR page, is the operative document.
