Cohesity is a Silicon Valley data-security and backup software company founded in 2013 by Mohit Aron (a co-founder of Nutanix and an early Google File System engineer). In December 2024 it closed a ~$3B acquisition of Veritas Technologies, roughly doubling headcount and creating a combined entity valued near $7B with ~$1.7B revenue. It markets itself as an award-winning workplace (Great Place to Work certified in the US, India and Costa Rica; USA Today Top Workplaces 2026) built around 'RADIO' values and 40+ employee 'Belonging Communities'. The honest caveat: this is a still-integrating post-merger org in a fast-paced enterprise-infrastructure market, and the public careers pages talk far more about values and awards than about concrete benefits.
