Color Health (originally Color Genomics) started in 2015 selling low-cost hereditary-cancer genetic tests, ran one of the largest COVID-19 testing operations in the US in 2020, and since 2023 has refocused on an oncologist-led Virtual Cancer Clinic sold to employers, unions, health plans and the public sector. It is a mission-driven health company that pitches 'the most meaningful work of your career'; the flip side of that repeated pivoting is that the business has reinvented itself twice in a decade, so expect a fast-paced, still-evolving startup rather than a settled one.
