Works around classes	The district publishes one work calendar covering support staff. Bus Drivers/Monitors, Parking Lot Attendants, Food Services Assistants and Cooks, Teacher Assistants/Paraprofessionals, School Clerks, School Monitors and Nurse Assistants all work a 185-day calendar running 3 August 2026 to 27 May 2027 — the student year — and are off for Fall Break, Thanksgiving, Winter Break, Spring Break and the summer with the students. Custodians and maintenance are the exception at 260 days, year-round.
Shift differential	Full-time CDL bus drivers who hold passenger and school-bus endorsements get an $800 a year retention incentive, half in December and half in May; drivers and monitors with certified perfect monthly attendance on a full AM and PM route get a separate attendance incentive. Food service cooks and assistants taking the lead role in the after-school meal programme get an extra $0.50 an hour as worked.
