Isomorphic Labs is a London-based AI drug-discovery company spun out of Google DeepMind in 2021 and owned by Alphabet, founded and led by Sir Demis Hassabis. It builds on the Nobel-winning AlphaFold system to design medicines computationally, with a stated mission to eventually 'solve all disease'. Expect a research-heavy, mission-driven frontier-science environment that raised $600M in its first external round (led by Thrive Capital) in 2025. Be aware that the company publishes almost nothing concrete about benefits - its careers pages speak only of 'generous benefits' and 'development opportunities' - so verify pension, leave, health and equity directly with the recruiter; the one thing they are explicit about is a hybrid model of three days a week in the office.
