Denver, CO · founded 2003
Palantir is the intense, mission-driven data-software company that has become one of the market's biggest stories, with its stock soaring on AI demand and its addition to the S&P 500 in 2024. It builds data-integration and analytics platforms (Gotham, Foundry, AIP) for government, defense and, increasingly, commercial customers, and it wears its values loudly. The culture is polarising: deeply mission-focused, in-person and demanding, with a strong point of view about the West and national security that draws people in or puts them off. It relocated its headquarters from Denver to Miami in early 2026. Benefits documented in its US postings include medical, dental and vision, voluntary and basic life, take-what-you-need PTO, ten holidays, fertility and family-building support (adoption, surrogacy, preservation), subsidised back-up care and a 401(k) plan. It suits people who want frontier data work and a strong identity, and is a poor fit for anyone who wants a low-key, apolitical job.
