Rippling is a fast-scaling 'compound startup' that sells one platform for HR, IT and Finance (payroll, benefits admin, device management, expense/corporate cards). Founded by Parker Conrad after Zenefits, it is unapologetically intense and ambitious: its published leadership principles prize deciding quickly, challenging each other directly and frugality, and its own careers page warns that 'Rippling won't always be a 9-to-5.'
