Sunrun is the largest residential solar-and-battery company in the US, running a subscription model where it owns the panels and customers buy the power. It is mission-driven around clean energy and leans hard on that identity (its values are 'We Love People / We Love to Create / We Love to Run'). Honest caveat: it is a ~9,000-person public company (NASDAQ: RUN) with a large field, installation and commissioned-sales workforce, so the SoMa/Financial-District corporate HQ experience is very different from field roles, and the residential-solar sector has been volatile with rate and layoff swings.
