Degree paid upfrontChildren's Educational Assistance Plan: after FIVE years of benefits-eligible service, a tuition grant covering 100% of a DEPENDENT CHILD'S tuition and mandatory education fees, capped at $22,400 per academic year ($11,200 a semester), for up to four years of full-time undergraduate study at any accredited four-year institution - not only Princeton. Community-college and accredited trade-school starts get two extra terms. The grant is non-taxable and paid straight to the school. CASUAL EMPLOYEES are excluded, and casual service does not count toward the five years.
Paid trainingStaff Educational Assistance Plan reimburses 85% of tuition and mandatory fees (textbooks included) for the EMPLOYEE'S own study, after one year of benefits-eligible service. The annual cap is means-tested in the employee's favour: up to $7,500 a fiscal year if base salary is $80,000 or less, $5,250 if above it. English as a Second Language classes and GED testing are covered at 100%. Casual employees are not eligible.
