Vantage is an NYC-founded, remote-first startup building an independent cloud cost management platform — tools that help engineering teams see, report on, and cut their AWS/cloud spend. It was started in 2020 by Ben Schaechter and Brooke McKim, product leaders who came out of DigitalOcean and AWS, and is backed by a16z and Scale Venture Partners. It's a small team (around 75 people) that leans heavily on written communication and a 'bias for action', so expect broad ownership and a fast, iterate-and-ship rhythm rather than big-company structure.
