Wiz is a cloud-security company that scans code, cloud, and runtime to find risks across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud, and Kubernetes. Founded in 2020 by four ex-Adallom leaders, it became the fastest software company to reach $100M ARR and was acquired by Google for $32B (deal completed March 2026), now operating as 'powered by Google.' It's a fast-moving, globally distributed org: sales and marketing sit mostly in North America and Europe while engineering is concentrated in Tel Aviv. Honest caveat: Wiz discloses very little about pay or benefits publicly, and post-acquisition integration means culture and benefits may be in flux.
